Inauguration of bridges and roads for people from livelihood support project

On the morning of September 10, the Lao Cai Provincial Red Cross in coordination with the People's Committee of Phuc Khanh Commune organized a ceremony to accept and hand over the bridge and road project in Gia Thuong village.

This is one of the civil works under the project "Restoring and enhancing agricultural livelihoods and housing in Lao Cai province after storm Yagi" sponsored by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

At the ceremony, the quality of the qualified project was assessed and inspected. On that basis, the Provincial Red Cross handed over the project to the People's Committee of Phuc Khanh commune for management and use.

With a total value of over 740 million VND, the bridge and road project with a length of over 1 km has served the travel and production needs of nearly 40 households in the village. The project has also supported more than 310 laborers in the village.
