The program depicts the beauty of the ocean and the great forest, welcoming the merger of Dak Lak and Phu Yen provinces into the new Dak Lak province.
The program started with the song and dance performance “Lullaby of Au Lac” combined with mapping performance, creating an attractive visual and audio space. The legend “Dragon and Fairy’s Children” was recreated on stage through art, spreading the message of solidarity between regions and ethnic groups.
With a duration of about 90 minutes, “ Dak Lak - Echoes of a New Day” depicts the beauty of the land and people of the new Dak Lak province, from the majestic mountains to the coastal area with blue sea, white sand, and golden sunshine, depicting the unique cultural colors of the ethnic groups living on this land, while expressing the aspiration to rise up and enter a new era.

The audience was impressed with the singing and dancing performance combined with the mapping performance "Ba River Sediment", the traditional musical instrument ensemble "Via Troi Cha", the stone instrument - stone trumpet ensemble "Thanh am loc nguon cuong to celebrate the homeland festival", the singing and dancing performances "Yeu anh tu nang ong", "Lung linh Mui Dien", "Xon xang van mang Dak Lak plateau", "Bien cua ta", "Bien - forest in the new era"...; and was satisfied with the performances of the collections: brocade "Huong sac dai ngan", ao dai "Song", summer fashion "Song ngan" by designer Nguyen Viet Hung performed by beauty queens, runners-up, beauty queens, and famous models.

Mr. Huynh Tu Nhan, Deputy Director in charge of Sao Bien Folk Song and Dance Theater, who is the artistic director and scriptwriter of the program, shared: “The Theater and the Dak Lak Ethnic Song and Dance Troupe coordinate to carry out this program to serve the people and tourists to the Eastern region of Dak Lak. The program praises the cultural characteristics and beauty of the land and people in the West and East of Dak Lak, from the great mountains to the coastal plains, reflecting the harmony between two different cultural spaces, which are building and developing together.”
One of the highlights of the program was the interaction with Miss Vietnam 2024 Ha Truc Linh and Miss Vietnam Tourism Ambassador 2024 Dinh Thi Hoa. Amidst the excitement and enthusiastic cheers of the audience, Miss Ha Truc Linh shared that returning to her hometown - the land in the East of Dak Lak, she felt emotional and proud. Not only loved by her family and friends, Truc Linh was also warmly welcomed by the local people. This gave her strength on the upcoming journey.
Miss Tourism Ambassador of Vietnam 2024 Dinh Thi Hoa said that after being crowned last summer, on her journey to fulfill her mission as a tourism ambassador, she chose Phu Yen (old) as the first province to carry out meaningful promotional activities. Referring to the folk song "The Ba River flows down to Da Rang/ Who loves Dak Lak more than Phu Yen", Miss Dinh Thi Hoa expressed her feelings when Dak Lak and Phu Yen merged into the new Dak Lak province. "Hoa believes that this will be an opportunity for Hoa - a daughter of her hometown Dak Lak - to strive and devote herself to bringing the image of the new Dak Lak further and further, attracting more domestic and foreign tourists to the new Dak Lak", Miss Tourism Ambassador of Vietnam 2024 said.

Coming from Cambodia, Miss Cosmo Inspiring Beauty 2025 Savannah Richana Mean and Nhen Soksophea - Top 10 Miss Cosmo Cambodia 2025 were very excited. Savannah Richana Mean said: "We were invited from Cambodia to come here to perform in a meaningful and special program." Nhen Soksophea said that she found Dak Lak beach very beautiful, one of the most beautiful beaches she had ever set foot on.
Performing in the program “Dak Lak - Echoes of a New Day”, the artists and actors who are children of the new homeland of Dak Lak shared special emotions. Meritorious Artist Joel Knul (Dak Lak Ethnic Song and Dance Troupe) said: “We have known each other for a long time, this time performing together, like family. We performed with a new spirit after the two provinces merged, so we were very excited”. Artist Y Moan Hmok (Dak Lak Ethnic Song and Dance Troupe) shared: “Performing for the homeland, everything blends together to make me excited”.
Growing up in the land of Phu Yen (old), Meritorious Artist Thanh Loan (Sao Bien Folk Music and Dance Theater) confided: “All my feelings and passion, I put them all on this land. I love this peaceful, beautiful land; the people are friendly and gentle. Every time I perform in art programs serving political tasks, serving the people, conveying cultural messages, the typical beauty of this land to the audience through the language of dance, I feel happy”.
