Prosecution of female General Director of ABI Pharma Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company

The police investigation agency determined that Vu Thi Thu Huyen, in her role as General Director of ABI Pharma Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, produced products that did not have the required ingredients as stated on the packaging, to supply to Healthy HKV Company.

On September 10, Lao Cai Provincial Police announced that the Provincial Police Investigation Agency had issued a decision to supplement the decision to prosecute the criminal case and prosecute Vu Thi Thu Huyen (32 years old, General Director of ABI Pharma Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company) for the crime of producing and trading in counterfeit food products.

This is the latest development in the case of manufacturing and trading of banned goods, the soft pill product Quan Vuong Nhat Sinh Dan, at Healthy HKV Trading and Service Joint Stock Company and related units, which the Yen Bai Provincial Police (old) had busted in May 2025.

During the investigation expansion process, the Investigation Police Agency of Lao Cai Province Police determined that Vu Thi Thu Huyen, in her role as General Director and legal representative of ABI Pharma Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, organized the production of Quan Vuong Nhat Sinh Dan soft pills that did not ensure the ingredients as stated on the packaging to supply to Healthy HKV Company.

On September 8, the Investigation Police Agency of Lao Cai Province Police searched Huyen's residence in Vinh Am Commune, Hai Phong City.

The case is currently under investigation and clarification according to legal regulations.

As reported by Tuoi Tre Online on May 29, the Investigation Police Agency of Yen Bai Province (old) has initiated a case of production and trade of banned goods at Healthy HKV Trading and Service Joint Stock Company.

At the same time, Nguyen Thi Thanh Hien (director) and Bui Van Khanh (Hien's husband) were prosecuted for trading in prohibited goods.

The initial investigation determined that in April and May 2025, Bui Van Khanh and his wife Nguyen Thi Thanh Hien discussed with each other to order ABI Pharma Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (Tho An commune, Dan Phuong district, Hanoi) to produce 2,000 boxes of Quan Vuong Nhat Sinh Dan soft pills, a health protection food product that has not been granted a certificate of product declaration registration by the competent authorities for sale on the market.

Investigation results show that from April 22 to May 25, Healthy HKV Company sold a total of 678 orders, equivalent to 831 boxes of King King Nhat Sinh Dan soft pills, earning more than 264 million VND.

Checking the warehouse of ABI Pharma Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, the authorities seized nearly 20 types of health protection food products and many other goods along with tools, machines, and means used to produce health protection food worth billions of dong.
