Kia Carnival HEV 2025 adds 80 million VND, Vietnamese customers get VIP seats

Vietnamese customers who love comfort have the option of the Kia Carnival HEV with VIP seats, accompanied by a series of high-end features such as massage, heating, cooling, touch control...

Some consultants at the dealership said that the 2025 Kia Carnival hybrid (HEV) version will soon be equipped with a VIP seat package. It is expected that cars using this option will begin to be delivered to customers from next month. The VIP seat package will be provided in parallel with the standard version, with a higher price of about 80 million VND.

Currently, the Kia Carnival HEV is listed at 1.849 billion VND. The car is in a promotional program with a discount of 45 million VND and a one-year body insurance package. When adding the cost of the VIP seat option, the selling price of the Carnival HEV can reach 1.929 billion VND, approaching the price of the Volkswagen Viloran (2.088 billion VND).

In the standard configuration, the second row of seats of the Carnival HEV is designed like a captain's chair but only supports basic adjustments such as sliding, reclining and raising the calf cushion. High-end features such as massage, cooling or position memory are still absent.

With the VIP package, the entire middle row of seats is upgraded with multi-directional electric adjustment, including reclining, calf support and tighter headrests. In particular, the seats are equipped with a touch screen control panel mounted on the armrest, allowing for intuitive operation.

A series of high-end amenities also appear, such as massage, heating, cooling functions, USB-C charging ports and magnetic phone holders, elevating the passenger experience to a new level.

Carnival HEV uses a 1.6L Smartstream turbocharged gasoline engine combined with an electric motor, for a total capacity of 242 horsepower and 367 Nm of torque. The 1.49 kWh battery system not only helps the car increase operating efficiency but also optimizes fuel consumption, only 4.95 liters/100 km on mixed roads.

Notably, this MPV model is also equipped with the E-VMC technology package including three features: E-Handling helps the car to be more stable when cornering, E-EHA optimizes emergency steering ability to avoid collisions, E-Ride reduces side sway when going over speed bumps or bad terrain. The battery pack on the Carnival hybrid version is warranted by the company for up to 7 years or 150,000 km.

In addition to the HEV version with VIP seats, the Vietnamese market is about to welcome the Carnival Hi Limousine version. On September 26, the Kia Vietnam fanpage posted a photo of a well-camouflaged car, revealing only the headlights and the roof with a luggage box.

From these features, it is easy to recognize that this is the Carnival Hi Limousine - the version that once attracted attention in Korea. This model is expected to have a more spacious interior thanks to the high ceiling, along with many superior amenities compared to the HEV version.

The parallel appearance of the Kia Carnival HEV VIP MPV and Carnival Hi Limousine models not only expands the choices for Vietnamese customers, but also reflects the trend of upgrading the experience in the high-end MPV segment.
