According to the report of the local authorities and Vinh Hai border guard station, in Vinh Hy Bay there are currently 24 glass-bottom boats, 33 canoes, 7 floating restaurants and 31 jet skis. Of which, all glass-bottom boats, 17 canoes, 3 floating restaurants are qualified to operate tourism according to the law. The remaining jet skis are currently not qualified to operate and pick up passengers. Since the beginning of 2023, the local authorities have required owners of inland waterway vehicles that have not met the regulations to sign a commitment not to operate tourism, and have also increased inspection, detection and handling of 35 violations with a fine of more than 105 million VND. However, there are still cases where inland waterway vehicles that have not met the law are still secretly operating, causing traffic safety problems in the area.

Through the actual inspection, the Inspection Team requested the Ninh Hai District Traffic Safety Committee and relevant agencies to strengthen the implementation of solutions to ensure order and safety of inland waterway traffic; resolutely handle vehicle owners who have not ensured safety conditions according to the law but still deliberately pick up and transport tourists. The Inspection Team also requested the Ninh Hai District Traffic Police to strengthen patrolling and control, ensuring order and safety of traffic on the coastal route during the National Day holiday.
