Kien Giang won 4 medals at the Southern Vovinam Championship

(KGO) - At the end of the 2nd Southern Vovinam Championship in 2025, Kien Giang athletes won 4 medals; including 1 gold medal, 1 silver medal and 2 bronze medals.

Athlete Danh Thi Hong Trang of Kien Giang received the gold medal.

On June 5, the Kien Giang Vovinam Federation announced that participating in the 2nd Southern Vovinam Championship in 2025 in Vinh Long province, Kien Giang athletes competed quite well, winning 4 medals of various types.

Specifically, athlete Danh Thi Hong Trang won the gold medal in the 57kg weight class; athlete Nguyen Thi Cam Tuyen won the silver medal in the 54kg weight class; athlete Nguyen Thi Bich Hop and athlete Ha Nguyen Ai Xuan won 2 bronze medals in the 48kg and 66kg weight classes, respectively.

The 2nd Southern Vovinam Championship in 2025 gathered nearly 300 athletes from 19 provinces, cities and sectors to participate, including An Giang, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Bac Lieu, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Binh Thuan, Ca Mau, Can Tho, Dong Nai, Dong Thap, Hau Giang, Kien Giang, Long An, Army, Soc Trang, Tay Ninh, Tien Giang, Tra Vinh and Vinh Long.
