The Pentagon said on Tuesday that the United States takes North Korea's "suicide drones" "seriously," while reiterating Washington's commitment to working with South Korea and other allies to ensure regional security.

"We obviously take that threat seriously and will monitor it closely," Pentagon press secretary Major General Pat Ryder said at a news briefing.
