The latest teams to book their places in Australia for the 2026 AFC Women's Asian Cup finals are India (Group B), Chinese Taipei (Group D), Vietnam (Group E), Uzbekistan (Group F), Philippines (Group G) and North Korea (Group H).
Previously, the 2026 AFC Women's Asian Cup finals had determined 5 participating teams. Including 4 teams that did not participate in the qualifying round, namely Australia (host) and 3 teams: China, Japan and South Korea (the three teams with the highest rankings in the 2022 AFC Women's Asian Cup).
The fifth team is Bangladesh women's team - they won a ticket to the final round one round early in the qualifying round of Group C.
There is still one more place left in the 2026 AFC Women's Asian Cup finals, to be determined after the Group A qualifying round.
This is a group with the participation of Iran, Jordan (host), Lebanon, Singapore and Bhutan. According to the schedule, Group A of the 2026 Asian Women's Football Championship qualifiers starts on July 7 and ends on July 19.
Of the 11 teams that have qualified for the 2026 AFC Women's Asian Cup, only Bangladesh will be participating for the first time. This will be a historic tournament for Bangladesh women's football.
