Kim Thanh assigned 4 communes to complete the model new rural area this year.

Kim Thanh district leaders visited the model of growing jicama according to VietGAP standards in Kim Tan commune.

This is the fourth consecutive year that Kim Thanh district has supported communes in building advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas with 5 billion VND/commune.

In 2025, Kim Thanh district assigned Hoa Binh commune to reach the advanced new rural area goal; Lai Khe, Vu Dung, Kim Lien and Tam Ky communes to reach the model new rural area goal. Among the model new rural area communes, Lai Khe and Kim Anh communes were assigned to build a smart commune model.

By 2025, Kim Thanh district strives to achieve advanced new rural district status.

Kim Thanh district currently has 11 out of 13 communes including: Lai Khe, Vu Dung, Kim Xuyen, Dai Duc, Tam Ky, Hoa Binh, Kim Dinh, Kim Tan, Ngu Phuc, Kim Lien, Dong Cam meeting the advanced new rural standards. Kim Anh commune meets the model new rural standards. Tuan Viet commune meets the new rural standards.
