KITA deploys 2025 action plan and establishes Phu Quoc Tourism Association

(KGO) - On May 23, Kien Giang Tourism Association (KITA) held a conference to deploy the 2025 operation plan and announced the establishment of Phu Quoc Tourism Association.

According to the 2025 plan, KITA strives to develop 21 new members; survey and propose recognition of 2 new typical tourist destinations at the provincial level; 1 at the Mekong Delta region level; organize and coordinate 2 domestic famtrip programs, 2 foreign roadshow programs; organize 5 training courses, foster human resources...

KITA cooperates with the Kien Giang Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center and businesses to organize trade promotion fairs in potential markets such as Korea, Japan, the Middle East, etc.

Within the framework of the program, KITA organized a B2B connection session between 33 Phu Quoc tourism service businesses and nearly 80 domestic businesses, opening up opportunities for practical cooperation, strengthening connections, forming unique, creative, and highly competitive tourism products to serve domestic and foreign tourists...

On this occasion, Kien Giang Tourism Association announced the decision to establish Phu Quoc Tourism Association, with an executive board of 11 members. Mr. Nguyen Vu Khac Huy was elected as Chairman of the Association.
