6th Session, 15th National Assembly: The National Assembly will question in 4 groups of fields

On the evening of October 30, at the National Assembly House, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue chaired a meeting to review preparations for questioning at the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

At the meeting, Secretary General of the National Assembly, Head of the National Assembly Office Bui Van Cuong presented a report on preparations for questioning and answering questions at the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue gave an opening speech to open the discussion. Afterwards, delegates discussed the method and time for questioning and answering questions.

At the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated the preparations for the question and answer sessions at the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly. The exchanges and discussions at this meeting helped find the most effective questioning method, thereby contributing to improving the effectiveness, efficiency and prestige of the National Assembly.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that the goal of the question and answer session is to confirm the results achieved, and at the same time assess the lessons learned, contributing to the National Assembly's supreme supervision. The Prime Minister agreed with the statement of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue that through supervision, agencies can find appropriate solutions that are close to the practical situation, closely following the Party's leadership, helping the country overcome the difficult period and continue to develop.

Emphasizing that the question-and-answer activities at the National Assembly always receive attention from voters and people, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh suggested promoting the positive points achieved in previous question-and-answer sessions.

Concluding the meeting, NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue thanked Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh for his comments. Summarizing the contents discussed, NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue emphasized that, in terms of methods, the question and answer session will be organized according to the following groups of fields: General and macro economics; sectoral economics; culture, society; justice, internal affairs, and state audit.

The question and answer session will be held for 2.5 days (from the morning of November 6 to the morning of November 8). The time allocated for each field group is about 160-170 minutes, but the management will be flexible according to the actual situation.

With the motto of "paying attention to monitoring issues after monitoring", Chairman of the National Assembly Vuong Dinh Hue stated that the questioning and answering activities at the 6th Session are about the implementation of a number of Resolutions of the 14th National Assembly and from the beginning of the 15th National Assembly's term to the end of the 4th Session on thematic supervision and questioning. That is, questioning the implementation of "promises" by Government members and heads of sectors according to 10 resolutions of the 14th and 15th National Assembly, not about questioning current emerging issues.

Therefore, the reports and summary reports of the National Assembly Secretary General need to group the main issues according to the fields mentioned in the resolutions on questions and answers, thematic supervision resolutions, etc.

In that spirit, NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue requested the NA Secretary General and NA agencies to carefully prepare for the questioning and answering session. During the questioning sessions, it is necessary to summarize the results of the questioning immediately after the end of each group of fields to prepare a draft resolution on questioning and answering questions, and promptly send it to relevant agencies and the NA Standing Committee for comments before submitting it to the NA for consideration and decision.
