Lam Dong plans to welcome "eagles" to invest

(Dan Tri) - Lam Dong province will invite hundreds of businesses, including many "eagles" in the fields of urban areas, technology, and energy, to invest in projects in the area.

On September 30, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee held a press conference to provide information about the conference to promote investment in the locality in 2025.

At the press conference, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc Phuc said that after merging with Binh Thuan and Dak Nong, Lam Dong province will have an area of ​​over 24,000 km2.

Accordingly, Lam Dong has strengths including bauxite minerals, renewable energy (wind power, solar power), agriculture and tourism. The locality also has advantages in industry, seaports, transportation systems such as railways, highways, Lien Khuong International Airport, Phan Thiet dual-use airport, etc. These are favorable conditions for investors to research and implement projects.

According to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Phuc, the investment promotion conference in Lam Dong affirms the locality's support for businesses on the new journey. It is expected that the province will grant investment certificates to 9 units implementing projects on urban areas, tourism, energy, and industrial zones with a total area of ​​23,000 hectares and a total investment capital of over 33,000 billion VND.

In addition, Lam Dong province also signed memorandums of understanding with many investors on tourism and energy projects; calling on businesses to invest in 132 other projects in the area.

Lam Dong province leaders shared that, in addition to calling for investment in new projects, the locality also focused on removing difficulties and obstacles in old projects. Lam Dong province has reviewed and classified enterprises' difficulties into each field, assigned to units and localities to soon have solutions to resolve them.

The conference on investment promotion in Lam Dong province in 2025 is expected to take place on October 11 and 12, in Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat, with the participation of 750 delegates including Government leaders; representatives of ministries, central agencies, embassies, consulates, international organizations; leaders of provinces and cities...
