On the morning of October 2, Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee held a press conference to inform about the organization and key contents of the 1st Lam Dong Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
At the press conference, Standing Committee member and Chief of Office of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Khac Binh informed that the 1st Congress of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee is a congress applying digital technology , a "paperless congress". Delegates attending the congress are called by roll call and use documents using QR Code.
At the same time, delegates can look up documents, resolutions, term marks, personnel, etc. on the congress website, or access the electronic information page of the 1st Lam Dong Provincial Party Congress on Lam Dong Electronic Newspaper, officially launched on October 2.
The 1st Lam Dong Provincial Party Congress took place from October 9 to 11, with 498 official delegates representing more than 119,300 party members; of which, there were 92 ex-officio delegates and 406 delegates appointed from 128 party committees under the Provincial Party Committee.
Standing Committee member, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Vo Thanh Binh said that the congress has the theme: "Building a clean and strong Party and political system; promoting the great national unity bloc, diverse cultural identity, potential, advantages and innovation; strengthening national defense and security; building Lam Dong province to develop rapidly and sustainably, becoming a dynamic growth pole in the era of national development". He emphasized that this is a significant political event, a special milestone on the new development path of Lam Dong province.
With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development", the congress summarized and comprehensively evaluated the implementation of the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term; determined the directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term. At the same time, discussed and contributed opinions to the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress.
Regarding personnel work, according to the provisions of Directive No. 45, dated April 14, 2025 of the Politburo, the personnel of the executive committee, standing committee, secretary, deputy secretary, inspection committee and key positions of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, along with the Provincial Party Committee delegation attending the 14th National Congress of the Party are appointed by the Politburo.
The 1st Lam Dong Provincial Party Congress is a political event of special importance, orienting the development of Lam Dong province in the new period.
