In R - the Southern Central Bureau base, located in Tan Bien area, Tay Ninh , bordering Cambodia during the anti-American resistance war, it once gathered many famous artists and writers such as Tran Huu Trang, Ly Van Sam, Giang Nam, Hoai Vu, Nguyen Van Bong, Anh Duc, Ho Bong, Nguyen Quang Sang, Huynh Phuong Dong, Trang The Hy, Diep Minh Tuyen... And in R, many revolutionary songs were also born that still exist today.
On behalf of the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City, Vice Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Tran Thi Dieu Thuy expressed her deep gratitude to the artists who lived and fought in the midst of fire and bullets, still keeping the belief in victory. "The songs, poems, and brushstrokes of you are the sharp weapons for today's peace for the nation. The works are not only artistic heritage but also spiritual heritage, an endless source of inspiration for today's artists in creating and serving the Fatherland," Ms. Tran Thi Dieu Thuy affirmed.

Participating in the exchange, despite her old age, artist Hong Cuc still clearly remembers her first role in R when she transformed into an impressive mother in "Where there are enemies, we just go ". A play that, according to her, "going down to the people to find out was more effective in raising the awareness of the youth than several months of propaganda".
Recalling old memories, musician Pham Minh Tuan expressed that he was very happy to be lucky enough to be alive today, having the opportunity to reunite with his comrades who were 18-20 years old at that time, now in their 70s and 80s, some even nearly 100 years old. "During the resistance war, our dream was for the country to be unified soon, so we accepted all the sacrifices and hardships. Now living in peace, we continue to contribute and work within our capacity to build the country to become increasingly prosperous in the new era," the author of the song "Country" confided.
