Closing ceremony of the 8th Intermediate Buddhist Training Program (2022 - 2025)

On the morning of March 29, 2025, Long An Buddhist College solemnly held the closing ceremony of the Intermediate training program course VIII (2022 - 2025) and the opening ceremony of Intermediate course IX (2025 - 2028). Attending the ceremony were Venerable monks, the school's Board of Directors, professors, representatives of departments, branches, local authorities and monks and nuns.

During 3 years of study, 46 monks and nuns were trained in the intermediate Buddhist program with 36 basic subjects.

In a solemn atmosphere, the representative of the Board of Directors summarized the training process, recognizing the achievements that the monks and nuns have achieved in the past time. During the 3 years of study, 46 monks and nuns were trained in the intermediate Buddhist program with 36 basic subjects and extracurricular training topics to improve practical knowledge, propagation skills and morality. As a result, 6 monks and 3 nuns were classified as Excellent; 8 monks and 10 nuns were classified as Excellent; the rest were classified as Fair and Average.

Speaking at the ceremony, Most Venerable Thich Minh Thien - Member of the Executive Council, Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the province, Principal of Long An Buddhist College highly appreciated the serious learning spirit of the monks and nuns. The learning results of the course reflect the continuous efforts of each student in absorbing and practicing the teachings during the learning process.

At the ceremony, the school awarded diplomas to the monks and nuns and commended and rewarded those monks and nuns with outstanding achievements. Representatives of the students also expressed their deep gratitude to the Venerables, lecturers and the school for their dedication in teaching and guiding them throughout their studies over the past time.
