K-pop Lovers Festival 2025 returns to Hanoi with many young faces

From July 19 to 20, the K-pop Lovers Festival 2025 will officially take place at Tran Nhan Tong walking street, Hanoi. The program is jointly organized by the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam, the Korea Creative Content Agency and Seoul Newspaper.

Entering its 12th year, the festival continues to affirm the appeal of K-pop to Vietnamese youth. From a spontaneous playground of the Korean music-loving community, the program has become an annual activity attracting tens of thousands of participants each year. This year, the event promises to continue to explode with a series of rich activities.

Experience areas such as decorating K-pop items, dancing K-pop with AI, singing like an idol; exploring Korean tourism ... will be open both days, bringing many attractive options to attendees.

In particular, the two shows at 7 p.m. are an unmissable highlight with the participation of 10 excellent dance groups from three regions, performing eye-catching cover performances under the guidance of dancer Yechan from 1Million Dance Studio (Korea) and singer My Anh.

In particular, the 2 nights of performance will be a stage full of K-pop colors, the most anticipated of the year for the K-pop lover community.

At 7:00 p.m. on July 19 (Saturday), the 10 most talented dance groups (K-pop Cover Dance Festival 2025) selected from Hanoi, Da Nang , and Ho Chi Minh City will have the opportunity to ignite their passion for K-pop through impressive K-pop cover dance performances with choreographer/dancer Yechan (Korea) from 1Million Dance Studio - the birthplace of a series of famous choreographies by top Korean singers and groups and singer My Anh (Vietnam).

At 7 p.m. on July 20 (Sunday), 13 outstanding young people in the K-pop singing category selected from Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City will have the opportunity to show their talents on the big stage with famous Vietnamese singers such as Lam Bao Ngoc and Cong B.

At the end of the program, the best performing group out of 10 groups in the singing category will be selected to participate in the K-pop Cover Dance Festival World Final 2025 organized by Seoul Newspaper scheduled to take place in September in Seoul, Korea.

Director of the Korean Cultural Center, Mr. Choi Seung Jin, said: “I hope this year’s festival will be a place to connect the K-pop community and become an attractive cultural destination on weekends in Hanoi.” The program is completely free.
