TPO - After the Ministry of Education and Training announced the score distribution of the 2025 high school graduation exam subjects, many universities predicted that this year's benchmark scores would decrease compared to last year. However, the reality was the opposite when many majors had extremely high benchmark scores.

Representatives of many schools said that about 50% of the school's majors have increased benchmark scores compared to 2024, with many majors having benchmark scores above 29 points, even 30.

The reason for the increase in benchmark scores, even at a record level, is that the number of candidates registering this year has increased compared to 2024.

However, there are also many opinions that the bonus points, IELTS score conversion, and equivalent conversion between methods are the main reasons for the increase in standard scores.
