TPO - Many universities have announced that students will be off school or study online on September 29 and 30 to avoid the effects of storm No. 10 (storm Bualoi).

In Hanoi , the University of Foreign Languages ​​- Vietnam National University, Hanoi said that based on the complicated developments and the risk of flooding that may occur due to the impact of storm Bualoi, to proactively prevent and minimize damage, the school implemented online learning on September 29 for all levels and training systems: full-time university students, students of the second training program (double degree), students of the 2nd Diploma classes of the Work-study program, graduate students, and doctoral students.

For general courses with invited lecturers, the Training and Learner Department directly informs lecturers of the online teaching plan. For courses taught by training departments, heads of units proactively notify lecturers and students for implementation.

Lecturers proactively use online teaching methods: Zoom meeting, MS Teams, Google classroom... and directly notify students and trainees to implement.

Vietnam-Japan University - Vietnam National University, Hanoi announces that all undergraduate and master's classes at the University will switch to online mode on September 29. For students currently in Hoa Lac, the Training and Student Affairs Department is requested to open lecture halls, creating conditions for students to access the Internet and study online.

The Vietnam Youth Academy also decided to switch all regular university classes on September 29 to online. Students must prepare all equipment and internet connection to participate in learning according to the schedule.

Hanoi University of Natural Resources and Environment announces to students that from the afternoon of September 29 to the end of September 30, all classes scheduled during this time will switch from in-person to online teaching.

Vinh University ( Nghe An ) announced that to ensure the training plan, based on the weather situation, on September 29, the school will not organize teaching activities. On September 30, for full-time university and postgraduate training: Schools, faculties, and institutes will conduct online teaching for theoretical classes; temporarily suspend teaching for practical and experimental classes.

The school assigns the Training Department and the Postgraduate Training Department to notify lecturers and students via the staff portal, student portal, website, iOffice software and the school's fanpage; assigns the Institute of Research and Online Training to ensure the online teaching system to serve training work; support lecturers in creating classes and managing online teaching.

Similarly, Hong Duc University ( Thanh Hoa ) requested lecturers and students of courses to switch from in-person to online teaching on the LMS system on September 29. From September 30, based on the circulation situation after the storm, the school will have a further announcement.

Hong Duc University requires students to closely monitor weather forecasts and school announcements; limit travel during heavy rain and strong winds; ensure safety at accommodation, dormitories and living areas.

Nghe An University informs all lecturers and students that the school will be closed or switch to online learning on September 29. Lecturers will promptly notify students to be closed or switch to online learning based on weather conditions and the nature of the subject.

Ha Tinh University also announced a break from teaching and learning for lecturers and students on September 29.
