According to GD&TĐ Newspaper reporters, at Cam Thuy 2 High School, localized flooding due to the rising Ma River caused many roads to the school to be deeply submerged, making travel difficult. The school has announced that all students will be off school on October 1.

Similarly, Nong Cong 1 High School also temporarily stopped more than 1,500 students from going to school.

Mr. Luong Van Phan, the school principal, said: “Due to heavy rains causing the entire school area and classrooms to be deeply flooded, the school has informed students to continue to stay home on October 1. At the same time, we mobilized staff, teachers, and parents to participate in cleaning and sanitizing the school; homeroom teachers were asked to count and report the number of students in the area affected by the flood.”

In addition, many schools in the province also recorded damage to facilities. Some of the units that were heavily affected include: Son Thuy Primary School (Son Thuy Commune), Thanh Truc Primary School (Kim Tan Commune), Hoang Quy Secondary School (Hoang Phu Commune), Yen My Secondary School (Cong Chinh Commune)...
