On February 13, through her own company, Lisa (BlackPink) announced her debut as an actress. The youngest member of BlackPink will star in the third season of The White Lotus - a famous HBO series. The plot and her role have not been revealed. However, the female idol appears under her real name Lalisa Manobal.

This February, Lisa and the crew will film mainly in Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok, Thailand.

The White Lotus is an American satirical comedy-drama television series that critiques the privilege and hypocrisy of the super-rich, written and directed by Mike White.

The show is set at the White Lotus tropical resort, where every guest appears perfect but is trying to hide the darkness behind their facade. The first two seasons received a lot of praise from viewers and critics.

Revealed on HBO, director Mike White revealed that the main theme of season 3 revolves around Eastern religions and beliefs. Season 3 is expected to air in 2025.

On February 8, Lisa announced the establishment of her own company called LLOUD. She will be promoting her solo activities in the future after not signing a personal contract with YG Entertainment. After Jisoo and Jennie, Lisa is the third member of BlackPink to try her hand at acting.
