On November 29, 2023 in Hanoi, Lien Viet Post Joint Stock Commercial Bank - LPBank and UnionPay International Card Organization organized the launching event of LPBank Air Card non-physical international debit card, bringing a perfect experience in cashless payment, helping users spend and shop both domestically and internationally quickly, safely and conveniently.

LPBank Air Card – More than just a payment card

After the signing and cooperation period to expand the network of issuing and using international payment cards between LPBank and UnionPay, the LPBank Air Card non-physical international debit cards were officially released to the market. The product is the result of a "lightning-fast campaign" when the teams of experts from both sides have continuously made efforts to research, build, develop and launch the product within just 4 months.

LPBank Air Card is issued directly on the Lienviet24h Digital Banking application, approved and automatically activated through 100% online eKYC authentication. Customers can use the card to spend and pay immediately without waiting for the physical card to be issued. In particular, card number encryption technology will help ensure the highest level of protection for customer transactions.

The product is a comprehensive and effective combination of contactless payment technology, allowing users to pay for goods and services through many methods such as: QR code transactions, POS payments using NFC contactless payment technology (HCE payment), e-commerce payments.

Accordingly, cardholders can scan QR codes available at stores and payment acceptance units or activate the HCE payment function on the Lienviet24h app, then bring the mobile device close to the POS machine to accept payment. In addition, cardholders can also make online payments on online shopping websites conveniently and quickly.
