Comprehensive and effective implementation of tasks
In the first 6 months of 2025, the Provincial Military Party Committee has led and advised on the comprehensive and effective implementation of national defense, local military, border defense and defense zone construction tasks. Colonel Nguyen The Vinh - Commander of the Provincial Military Command cited: Agencies and units in the provincial armed forces have done a good job of registering and managing reserve soldiers and reserve technical equipment; arranging them into reserve mobilization units and mobilizing them to participate in training, exercises, and mobilization readiness inspections according to plan. The work of building the militia and self-defense force always ensures reasonable numbers and structure; organization, management, education , and training are serious and disciplined. In particular, the province has also completed 100% of the target of selecting and calling citizens to join the army.
On the other hand, Colonel Tran Tien Hai - Deputy Commander of the Provincial Military Command, concurrently Commander of the Provincial Border Guard Command - said: The unit has led and directed the synchronous implementation of measures to manage and protect the national border. Coordinate to strengthen patrols and control the area; strictly manage in accordance with the law; effectively combat violations and crimes, maintain political security, social order and safety in border areas, border gates, and seaports. At the same time, resolutely deploy a peak period to prevent and handle fishing vessels that exploit seafood illegally, without declaration, and without regulations (IUU). Organize inspection, control, and manage entry and exit, import and export activities in accordance with the law.
The Provincial Military Party Committee also leads and directs agencies and units to strictly implement the principles of Party organization and activities; maintain discipline in implementing working regulations and regulations on leadership of all aspects of work. Attention is paid to the work of educating, training and managing Party members; effectively deploying the model of "Four-good Party Cells" and "Four-good Grassroots Party Committees".
“The provincial armed forces have also effectively carried out mass mobilization, propaganda, and search and collection of martyrs' remains according to plan. The proof is that officers and soldiers have participated in 14,205 working days to support the completion of hundreds of houses in the program of "eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses". The Border Guard force alone has built 10 houses worth more than 1 billion VND from contributions from officers and soldiers and strong mobilization of donors. Concluding the conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee Ho Quoc Dung said that Gia Lai is an important locality, the provincial armed forces are simultaneously carrying out many tasks; the work of organizing the local military in the direction of "lean, compact, strong" sets high requirements in performing the tasks of national defense, military, border defense, and Party building.
On that basis, comrade Ho Quoc Dung requested agencies and units in the provincial armed forces to quickly stabilize their organization and staffing; strictly maintain combat readiness; coordinate with other forces to grasp the situation, assess, forecast, and promptly handle situations that arise.
“Gia Lai is a strategic area, so we absolutely must not let any unexpected situations happen. The Provincial Military Command must regularly report and update the situation of the area to the provincial leaders and always be ready to have specific plans for each situation. In addition, the provincial military must continue to promote its advisory role, mobilize resources to build potentials to ensure the province's defense area is increasingly solid,” Comrade Ho Quoc Dung directed.
Regarding border work, comrade Ho Quoc Dung requested the Provincial Border Guard Command to properly implement the coordination regulations, proactively grasp the situation, strengthen patrols and control of the border, border areas, and border gates, especially in areas where demarcation and marker planting have not been completed. Prepare forces and means to be ready to participate in search and rescue. Synchronously deploy plans to combat law violations and crimes in border areas, border gates, and seaports.
Another important task is the work of building the Party Committee. The Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee also requested agencies and units in the Provincial Military to synchronously implement solutions to build a strong and comprehensive unit "Exemplary and typical".
