Tong Le Chan Border Guard Station coordinated with units to give gifts to students at the Mid-Autumn Festival program "Border - Full Moon Festival Night"
At Tong Le Chan Border Guard Station, the unit coordinated with Nhan Tam Company Limited (HCMC) to organize the Mid-Autumn Festival program "Border - Full Moon Festival Night" in 2025 at Tan Hoa A Primary School (Tan Hoa commune, Tay Ninh province).
Children in the border areas were able to participate in and enjoy cultural activities and traditional games that were both practical and useful. Along with that, the program presented 320 gifts to 320 students (220 students from Tan Hoa A Primary School, 100 students from Tan Hoa Secondary School); and presented 54 gifts to 54 Khmer children in Con Tran hamlet.
The program also spread the love of Mid-Autumn Festival with 10 gifts given to 10 disadvantaged households in Cay Khe hamlet (each gift worth 1 million VND). The total cost of the program is about 150 million VND.
Lo Go Border Guard Station coordinated to give gifts to students in difficult circumstances.
At Lo Go Border Guard Station, the unit coordinated with Phuoc Vinh Commune Youth Union and Tay Ninh Youth Community Activity Group to organize the program "Border Mid-Autumn Festival Night" at Hoa Hiep Secondary School (Phuoc Vinh Commune, Tay Ninh Province), with many exciting exchange activities for children such as performing arts, folk games, lion dance, etc.
The program also gave 200 Mid-Autumn gifts to children and 20 gifts to students in difficult circumstances; the total value of the gifts was about 40 million VND.
Previously, the unit coordinated with the People's Committee of Phuoc Vinh commune and the Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Hong ward (HCMC) to organize the program "Border connection" including: free medical examination and medicine for 200 people; giving 20 health insurance cards, free haircuts for 80 people; giving 300 mattresses, 50 sets of student desks and chairs; 200 Mid-Autumn gifts and many other gifts. The total cost of the program is about 200 million VND.
The activities not only bring children a Mid-Autumn Festival full of love and meaning, but also encourage and motivate them to strive and overcome difficulties in their studies, and convey the image of solidarity between Border Guard soldiers and between the army and people at the border./.
