Injury storm causes Man Utd to lose many key players before the away match in round 13 of the Premier League this weekend.
Andre Onana and Facundo Pellistri both picked up injuries during the November international break, taking the total number of injured players in the United squad to nine. They have already lost Lisandro Martinez (foot), Casemiro (hamstring), Jonny Evans (thigh) and Christian Eriksen (knee) until December. Martinez and Casemiro are unlikely to return before Christmas, while Eriksen and Evans are unlikely to return against Chelsea on December 6.

Striker Rasmus Hojlund has withdrawn from the Denmark squad after a hamstring injury forced him out of the game against Luton on November 11. The 20-year-old did not attend Man Utd's training session at Carrington on November 22. Hojlund's absence could see Anthony Martial start his first Premier League game since September 3.
On the club's website, coach Erik ten Hag is not sure Hojlund will play this weekend and left open the possibility of giving him more rest ahead of the Champions League clash with Galatasaray in midweek. He said: "Rasmus Hojlund's injury is not too serious. The Everton game was a bit rushed for him but we are assessing it. We are not sure if Hojlund can play or not. Hopefully, he will be back next week. Christian Eriksen is out for a longer period. He will be out for a few weeks."
Left-back Tyrell Malacia has been out since July and is still recovering from knee surgery. Similarly, Amad Diallo is undergoing physiotherapy on his knee.
However, Man Utd also had good news in terms of force when Aaron Wan-Bissaka recovered after missing the match against Luton due to illness. Luke Shaw returned to training after three months of absence due to a torn hamstring. The return of the English left-back promises to help Marcus Rashford regain his form. This duo formed the main attacking direction of Man Utd last season.
