The conference also aims to give opinions on the report on the results of social supervision and criticism of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front from the 9th session to the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly .
Monitor complex, protracted cases
According to the plan, in 2026, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front will conduct supervision on 3 topics. This includes supervising a number of complaints and denunciations when requested, focusing on a number of specific, complicated, long-standing cases of special interest to public opinion, directly related to the legitimate rights and interests of organizations and individuals.
In addition, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front plans to supervise the digital transformation, application of science and technology to comprehensively innovate administrative procedures and provide public services in localities when implementing the arrangement of administrative units at the provincial and communal levels and implementing the 2-level local government model. The third content is to supervise the implementation of democracy at the grassroots level in conjunction with supervising the responsibilities of the leaders.

In addition to the monitoring topics of the Standing Committee of the Front, 5 socio -political organizations also plan their own monitoring topics according to their areas of responsibility. Each organization plans about 3 monitoring topics. Regarding criticism, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations will conduct social criticism of the draft laws considered and approved by the National Assembly in 2026.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Bui Quang Huy, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, First Secretary of the Central Youth Union, suggested that the monitoring plan of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front should be left to the Central Committee, while the provincial level should be decentralized and delegated so that localities can proactively monitor specific topics according to the characteristics and conditions of the locality. Mr. Bui Quang Huy also suggested that when planning the monitoring content, socio-political organizations need to clearly define the time and location so that the grassroots can proactively prepare.
Publicize the results of the Front's monitoring
Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu said that member organizations should always propose to the Standing Committee of the Front to plan the monitoring areas so that the Front can have an overall view, avoiding the situation where one province has up to 3 delegations of the Front coming to monitor.
Mr. Hieu also suggested that the selection of monitoring issues must be really hot issues that the people are interested in. "The Front and socio-political organizations go to monitor because the people urge, request, and demand them. The issues we choose must be hot, important, of interest to the people, and urgent," Mr. Hieu stated his opinion.

The Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor also said that the Party's inspections and government inspections, when announced, create interest and are very effective. Therefore, the Front's supervision must also be communicated so that the people can see that the Front's supervision discovers the problems that the people reflect and are upset about. At the same time, according to Mr. Hieu, from the people's problems, the Front's supervision is not to "deal with Mr. A, Mr. B" but must make specific recommendations to the agencies. "If we finish the supervision and then put it away very carefully in the cabinet, I think that in the end, "when everything is done, we can go home"", Mr. Hieu emphasized, at the same time suggesting that the Front can hold a press conference to announce the results of the supervision. "We are not afraid of conflicts that in locality A, locality B still have situation A, situation B. But on the contrary, this also requires us to supervise in a substantial and profound way", Mr. Hieu added.
Concluding the conference, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Hoang Cong Thuy agreed that when supervising, we must choose big, hot, sensitive issues with profound impacts in society to match the role of the Front and socio-political organizations. Mr. Thuy also suggested considering two more supervisory topics of the Front on digital transformation and implementing democracy at the grassroots level. "We are implementing the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus according to Resolution 18, or should we switch to this content and have all the forces of the Front, including 5 socio-political organizations participate in one delegation, is that okay?", Mr. Thuy suggested, and emphasized that supervision does not need to be too much, it is better to have less but effective, wide-ranging than to have a lot but not solving any problems.
Mr. Thuy said that the 2026 monitoring and feedback plan as well as the monitoring and feedback results report after receiving comments from socio-political organizations will be completed for the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee to sign and implement uniformly.
