Phu Ninh Front promotes its role as people's representative

With the spirit of "mutual love", people in the district actively responded and participated in supporting both spiritually and materially according to the appeal letter of the Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee to support the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province and the appeal letter of the Fatherland Front Committee at all levels to support people in the northern provinces and cities that suffered heavy damage due to storm No. 3.

Those noble gestures continue to foster the tradition and strength of national solidarity, making the Great Unity Day in residential areas in 2024 more exciting and warm.

The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Ninh district said that from 2019 to 2024, it has mobilized and received more than 3.9 billion VND from the District Fund for the Poor. Thereby, it supported the construction and repair of more than 160 solidarity houses, with an amount of 2.9 billion VND; visited and gave gifts to more than 1,500 poor and near-poor households...

The Relief Fund mobilized and received more than 8.1 billion VND, supporting the construction of 117 houses with the amount of 4.7 billion VND; repairing 218 houses with the amount of 2.2 billion VND; supporting production means for 20 households with the amount of 300 million VND...

These practical actions have contributed to the effective implementation of poverty reduction and social security in the district. By 2023, the district will have 1.93% poor households (mainly social protection beneficiaries) and 1.24% near-poor households.

Diversifying the forms of propaganda and mobilization in the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district, up to now, people have voluntarily cut down trees, dismantled hundreds of architectural objects, moved livestock and poultry barns from the front of the house to the back of the house; donated more than ^35,500m2 of land, 27,600 working days to build rural roads, canals...

According to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tinh - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Ninh district, the Vietnam Fatherland Front officials and socio -political organizations, the Front working committees in residential areas have promoted the spirit of responsibility, actively mobilized people to effectively participate in patriotic emulation movements, campaigns, helping poor households; building and improving the environmental landscape, village roads and alleys associated with new rural construction...

“The District Front promotes the role of people's representatives in supervision, social criticism, and giving opinions on Party and government building; acting as a bridge for leaders of Party committees and governments to directly dialogue with people on new rural construction, start-ups, and socio -economic development.

Thereby, grasping the ideological situation, public opinion, feedback, suggestions and recommendations of the people so that Party committees and authorities at all levels can promptly direct the resolution of people's concerns, creating momentum for local socio-economic development" - Mr. Tinh shared.
