Improving traffic safety and school security skills for nearly 800 students of Le Quy Don Secondary School

On September 29, Le Quy Don Secondary School (Lao Cai Ward) coordinated with Lao Cai Ward Police to organize an extracurricular activity to educate life skills, promote traffic safety, fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue for nearly 800 students of the school.

At the propaganda session, Lao Cai Ward Police officers informed about the situation of compliance with traffic safety laws in the area in recent times; a number of traffic accidents related to school age; disseminated basic knowledge and regulations on road traffic safety; instructed students to recognize traffic signs, skills to participate in traffic safely when walking, riding bicycles, electric bicycles, as well as raise awareness of compliance with traffic laws.

Students are educated on safe traffic skills and fire prevention and fighting.

In addition, students also learn about flammable materials and chemicals in the school environment; how to handle a fire, safe escape skills and especially are instructed on how to use fire fighting equipment.

The commitment shows the determination of teachers and students of the school to accompany in building traffic culture and school security right from small, specific actions in the 2025-2026 school year.
