The logo was designed by To Minh Trang ( Hanoi ), selected after a thorough review process. This will be the official logo used in all promotional activities related to this important anniversary.
The logo takes the image of President Ho Chi Minh reading the Declaration of Independence at Ba Dinh Square on September 2, 1945 as the center. The design is expressed through block graphics and strong contrasting light, aiming to create the sacred and heroic atmosphere of the historical moment. The main red color symbolizes the patriotism, fighting spirit and aspiration for independence and freedom of the Vietnamese people.
Prominent on the logo are historical milestones: August 19 and September 2. The logo background is a red flag with a yellow star fluttering, the number 80 is animated, representing the meaning of 80 years of the country, a journey full of turmoil and glory, exactly 80 years since the birth of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, known to the world with its brilliant historical milestones, pride, development, and steady steps into a new era, an era of rising up of Vietnam.
The number 80 in warm orange color represents the strong solidarity of all Vietnamese people, the steadfast belief in following the Party, the loyal comradeship and compatriots and the pure spirit of international solidarity, which is the "soft power" factor that makes Vietnam a symbolic country of peace and friendliness.
The design is made using CorelDRAW12 software, ensuring technical factors and wide applicability. Organizations and individuals using the logo must comply with the design parameters to ensure consistency.
