At the seminar "Vietnam Education Publishing House in the career of developing reading culture for students," speakers focused on discussing solutions to build reading habits in the context of social networks and the internet dominating.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Principal of Trung Vuong Secondary School ( Hanoi ), said that the school has organized many activities such as writing book reviews, book introduction contests, and creating a friendly reading space, but still faces difficulties because students prefer short, multimedia books.

Poet Tran Dang Khoa emphasized the role of "fire-spreaders" of librarians, who need to be trained and treated properly to guide students to books.

Experts say that families, schools and publishing agencies must work together to create a reading environment, forming a generation of students who are both good at knowledge and have a love and skill for reading./.
