Prime Minister presents Certificate of Merit to Duc Phuc after victory at Intervision 2025

On the afternoon of September 26, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a ceremony to award the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit to singer Duc Phuc, Champion of the Intervision 2025 international music competition held in Moscow, Russian Federation.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong congratulated Duc Phuc and highly appreciated the singer's efforts, stage presence and seriousness. The Deputy Minister emphasized that Intervision is a tough competition, with each contestant only having 3 minutes to fully convey their emotions and messages. "Duc Phuc did it very well," Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong affirmed.

This year's competition attracted more than 4.5 billion global viewers, thereby contributing to promoting Vietnam's image to the world. "Duc Phuc's victory is not only a music award but also a golden opportunity to promote Vietnam's culture, people and country to international friends. Besides, this also shows that young Vietnamese artists are fully capable of integrating, competing and shining on international music stages," Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong emphasized.

The Certificate of Merit Award Ceremony was held at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Sharing at the ceremony, singer Duc Phuc expressed his deep gratitude to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for entrusting him with the responsibility of representing Vietnam in the competition, helping him have the opportunity to assert himself in the international music arena. "In particular, receiving the Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister is an extremely great honor for me. This is not only a recognition of my personal efforts and the entire production team's, but also a source of motivation for me to continue to strive to create and spread Vietnamese music to the world ," the male singer expressed.

Singer Duc Phuc also said: "When I received the invitation to represent Vietnam, I was very worried. This was the first time I stepped into an international music arena, so I was both excited and worried. I met with the crew and discussed carefully which song to bring to both express national identity and conquer international audiences. When I chose the song Phu Dong Thien Vuong , I felt like a burden had been lifted, because this is an epic composition, very suitable to tell the story of the strength and spirit of Vietnam on the international stage."
