Northern region has thunderstorms and temperature drops

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, due to the influence of cold air , from last night to this morning (October 7), in the Northern region there will be showers and thunderstorms, especially in the mountainous and midland areas there will be moderate rain, some places will have heavy to very heavy rain with rainfall of 20-50mm, some places over 100mm.

From this afternoon and tonight, rain will spread to the area from Thanh Hoa to Quang Binh with the above rainfall.

Thunderstorms may produce tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind. Localized heavy rain may cause flooding in low-lying areas and flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas.

Also today, scattered rains continue to appear in the area from the Central Central to the South in the evening, the day remains sunny with the highest temperature of 34 degrees. The Central Highlands is cooler, not exceeding 32 degrees.

Da Nang to Binh Thuan
