The North is about to turn hot after heavy rain

According to the Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting Agency, the North, including Hanoi, will have moderate to very heavy rain on July 12. However, from July 13 onwards, the rain will decrease rapidly, the weather will turn sunny, and by July 15 there is a possibility of widespread heat waves.

Northern mountainous region today July 12 still has risk of heavy rain

On the morning of July 12, the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology ( Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment ) released a report on the weather forecast for the whole country for the week from July 12 to 18.

In the Northern region, from July 15 to 17, heat waves will occur widely with high temperatures. There is a possibility of thunderstorms in the evening and at night. On the night of July 17 and July 18, scattered showers and thunderstorms may return, concentrated in the evening.

In the area from Thanh Hoa to Hue, on July 12, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, with Thanh Hoa and Nghe An experiencing moderate to very heavy rain. From July 13 to 14, it will be sunny, with some areas experiencing heat; in the evening and at night, there will be scattered showers. From July 15 to 18, there will be a possibility of widespread heat, with localized thunderstorms in the evening, and no rain at night.

The South Central Coast region will have mostly sunny weather all week, with some hot weather and scattered thunderstorms in the evening.

Meanwhile, the Central Highlands and the South continue to maintain stable weather. During the week, the weather is sunny during the day, with scattered thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening, with low intensity. Water levels on major rivers in the Central Highlands fluctuate slightly, regulated by reservoirs; rivers in the South change with the tide, tending to rise slowly.
