“In just a few years, this place has changed beyond belief. That is thanks to the solidarity of the Ban Muong people, especially the road that has been expanded by the people” - Mr. Hoang Van On - Head of the Ban Muong residential group smiled as he looked at the road that was soaked with the effort and sweat of him and the people here.
Mr. On's story is just one of the examples that contribute to brightening the new face of Cau Thia ward - a land formed on the basis of merging 4 communes and 1 ward. With an area of 31.84 km², nearly 26,000 people, this is a residential space of 10 ethnic groups, of which ethnic minorities account for more than 86%. That land of diverse cultures has become a bright spot in the construction of new rural areas and civilized urban areas, each citizen is a dynamic subject of development.

“In Cau Thia, no movement stops at slogans. Each campaign is materialized by actions, by practical models, closely linked to the lives of the people” - Mr. Bui Dinh Vuong - Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Cau Thia Ward shared.
Indeed, from the movements “All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas”, “Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods” to the movements “Saturday with the people”, “Skilled mass mobilization”… all bear the mark of solidarity. The “women’s self-managed roads”, “security and order self-management groups”, the model “Lighting up the countryside roads” or village covenants and conventions to implement civilized lifestyles in weddings and funerals… have changed every street corner, every house, every habit of the people.

Ms. Pham Thi Qui - Chairwoman of Cau Thia Ward Women's Union could not hide her pride: The Union has mobilized women to actively participate in the movement "Building a family of 5 no, 3 clean", "Vietnamese women of the new era". More than 35 livelihood models were supported, 11 charity houses were built with a total value of nearly 330 million VND. Behind those numbers are smiles, new faith of poor women who have a roof over their heads, have a livelihood to rise up.
Among the active women's union cadres, Ms. Lo Thi Hoa is a typical example. She directly monitored and directed 9 grassroots women's unions, helping the movement go deeper. Thanks to that, women union members are more confident in economic development - the core force in preserving cultural identity and building a civilized life.

Farmers in Cau Thia Ward have also left many marks. Mr. Hoang Xuan Lien - Chairman of the Ward Farmers' Association enthusiastically told about the movement of donating land to open roads: In Kha Ha, Ban Lao, Ban Khinh residential groups alone, people have donated more than 10,000 m² of land, contributing thousands of working days to open 5 km of inter-village roads. Those roads have opened up a new rhythm of life, bringing agricultural products of the people easily to the market. From rice fields and corn fields, many economic models have risen to become bright spots, such as the family of Ms. Hoang Thi Ngai in Na Duong residential group with 3,000 m² of sweet corn with a stable source of income; the family of Mr. Nguyen Van Trong with the original Seng Cu rice model at An Son Cooperative with outstanding productivity, bringing high economic value...
The new golden season is ripening in Cau Thia land, signaling a prosperous life. Along with economic development, the movement to build a cultural life in Cau Thia ward is also being strongly implemented. Accordingly, 100% of residential groups have built village covenants and conventions; 100% have Scholarship Funds to support poor students.

In An Son residential group, the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" has been enthusiastically responded by the people. Not only preserving a civilized lifestyle, people also actively build cultural and sports institutions, and promote traditional values. From volleyball courts, cultural houses to traditional festivals, all contribute to brightening the spiritual life of the people. In particular, the goal of building "happy villages" and "happy families" has become a driving force. Up to now, the rate of cultural families in the ward has reached over 90% - a testament to the strength of village and neighborhood relationships and the solidarity of the community.

Passing through each residential group of Cau Thia ward, one can easily see ordinary faces writing extraordinary stories. Mr. Hoang Van On with the extended concrete road in Ban Muong; Ms. Lo Thi Bun, Ms. Ha Thi Tien in Ban Phieng residential group did not hesitate to face difficulties, connecting with the Legal Trade Union, the Social Policy Bank, mobilizing support to build houses for poor households, worth tens of millions of VND. They not only brought new homes but also gave faith and sowed seeds of hope for families in difficult circumstances. Farmers who stick to the land and fields every day make sweet corn and Seng Cu rice seasons...

The achievements of Cau Thia ward are not only measured by newly opened roads, newly built houses, or effective economic models, but also by the spirit of solidarity and trust of the people in the Party and the government. The ward's Fatherland Front Committee and mass organizations have supported the construction of 74 houses for poor and near-poor households with a total value of 350 million VND. The poverty rate has decreased by an average of 1.5% per year, and by 2025 it will be only 5.1%. The material and spiritual life of the people has been improved, and the landscape and environment are increasingly bright, green, clean, and beautiful.

Today, Cau Thia is woven with the colors of prosperous fields, straight roads, warm and affectionate houses, and resilient people... Each Cau Thia resident is truly a mirror for the community, a testament to the strength of solidarity, the aspiration to rise up and get rich, and build a cultural life imbued with identity.
