After more than two months of exciting activities, the Ho Chi Minh City Industry and Trade Development Forum has received more than 150 valuable suggestions from experts, scientists, businesses, and readers.

The closing workshop of the Ho Chi Minh City Industry and Trade Development Forum with the theme "Ho Chi Minh City Industry and Trade Development: Advice - Action - International Integration" will take place on September 23.

On September 23, at Rex Saigon Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City, a conference will be held to summarize the Ho Chi Minh City Industry and Trade Development Forum with the theme "Ho Chi Minh City Industry and Trade Development: Advice - Action - International Integration".

The workshop is part of a series of activities of the Forum for Suggestions on Industrial and Trade Development in Ho Chi Minh City, launched by Tuoi Tre Newspaper in collaboration with the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City and the UEH.ISB Talent School from July 2025.

The closing conference will be attended by leaders of Ho Chi Minh City, leading experts, and many domestic and foreign business leaders. The highlight of the program is the announcement and honoring of the top 10 typical proposals, along with a series of thematic presentations focusing on sustainable development solutions for industry, trade and services in the city presented by experts.

The organizers said that all outstanding suggestions from the forum will be compiled and sent to the leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, contributing to advising on breakthrough solutions in the new development phase of the city after the merger.

According to experts' assessment, with more than 150 highly valuable professional suggestions, correctly pointing out bottlenecks, limitations, strengths and proposing solutions in many fields such as industry, trade, transportation, etc., the forum was truly a "big win" when it achieved its set goals and met the wishes and concerns of Ho Chi Minh City's leaders after the merger.

In particular, a variety of dedicated advice came from leading experts such as Dr. Vo Xuan Hoai, Deputy Director of the National Innovation Center; Professor Vu Minh Khuong, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore... The seminars provided valuable information towards the goal of building Ho Chi Minh City into a strong urban area, capable of competing internationally.
