The victim was Mr. Poloong Nhuong (born in 1977), Head of A Tu 1 village, Hung Son commune. Mr. Nhuong had the accident while on his way home after tending to his crops in the field.
Previously, at around 6:30 p.m. the same day, people discovered Mr. Nhuong lying unconscious on the side of the road, with many wounds on his body, suspected to be from scratches and bites by wild animals, so they mobilized forces to carry him back to the village for first aid.
At about 7:00 p.m., after receiving the report, Hung Son Commune Police coordinated with medical staff to take the victim to Ch'Om Commune Health Station for continued first aid.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Bhnướch Den, after first aid, it was found that the victim had serious injuries to his face and lower jaw and had lost a lot of blood, so the Commune Police contacted the Tay Giang Regional Medical Center to request an ambulance to go to A Tu 1 village to pick up the victim and take him to the center for treatment.
Currently, Mr. Nhuong is conscious, informed that the incident was caused by a bear attack and is being actively monitored and cared for by doctors.
Hung Son Commune authorities advise people to avoid going to the fields alone, especially in the evening. At the same time, they are coordinating with authorities to monitor the traces of wild bears in the area to ensure people's safety.
