Rice straw products, environmental protection, are favored by many consumers.

Ms. Truong Thi Hong Ha, a business owner in Lien Huong commune, said: “I have learned and researched how to produce rice straws, processed from rice to make straws for beverage shops, protecting the environment instead of the current hard-to-decompose plastic straws. The unique point is that the product is made from natural ingredients, without toxic additives, so customers can eat directly from the straws.

Also from the rice, the facility processes dried noodles and pho (straight noodles), gluten-free, additive-free, preservative-free, ensuring the health of consumers. The clean products of Ms. Hong Ha's facility have been chosen by many restaurants and people in Lien Huong, Tuy Phong, Vinh Hao, and Phan Ri Cua communes for their business and daily activities.

Meanwhile, Ms. Nguyen Hoang Thu Huong, Hoa Le Clean Dragon Fruit Cooperative, Ham Thuan commune, has been using organic dragon fruit to process into delicious fresh products such as ice cream, jam, and shrimp crackers from dragon fruit for many years. Many domestic and foreign tourists who have visited the farm and enjoyed the above dishes have praised the deliciousness and bought them as gifts.

Similarly, the model of "Promoting local resources and enhancing the value of dragon fruit" was researched and developed by young Tran Thi Kim Linh (Ham Thang ward) to produce 100% naturally fermented juice, syrup, jam, candy, and eye-catching dried dragon fruit, which is favored by many customers inside and outside the province, considered a specialty of Lam Dong blue sea to choose to buy as gifts during the occasion of visiting and exploring the coastal scenery here.

Tran Thi Kim Linh shared: “The facility’s products are completely processed naturally, without additives, as a refreshing drink for everyone on hot sunny days. The dragon fruit stall is a mobile stall with eye-catching products such as dragon fruit tea, dragon fruit syrup, which are especially popular with people passing through Ham Thang, Phan Thiet, and Phu Thuy wards.”

The young owner Do Thi Minh Thi, owner of Tam Y fish sauce processing facility located along DT 719 road in Tan Hai commune, diligently purchases suitable fish materials from La Gi fishing port, processes them using traditional methods, without additives, and produces clean fish sauce with 30 degrees of nitrogen that meets 4-star OCOP standards, which is favored by customers inside and outside the province; many people buy it as a gift when making a pilgrimage to Thay Thim temple in Tan Hai commune. Minh Thi's facility also processes one-sun-dried mackerel (a favorite product of La Gi) and some seafood marinated with typical local coastal spices here, attracting more than 10 local workers...

Women’s start-up models are diverse, know how to take advantage of local resources, create clean products, contribute to environmental protection; quality, competitive product prices to attract customers; at the same time create jobs for many local workers. These can be considered dynamic, positive start-up models of women in the Southeast region of the province.
