The US announced that it would not participate in Israel's attacks on Iran.

According to CNN , a senior US government official announced that the country will not participate in Israel's military operations against Iran. Tel Aviv informed Washington shortly before the attack began.

"We understand that Israel is conducting a planned attack on military targets in Iran as an act of self-defense and in response to Iran's ballistic missile attack on Israel on October 1," US National Security Council spokesman Sean Savett said in a statement on October 25 (US time).

US President Joe Biden is currently in Wilmington, Delaware, and his advisers are not scheduled to meet in the Situation Room. However, Mr. Biden has been briefed on the attacks and is closely monitoring developments.
