Nguyen Quoc Nhat Minh, a student of class 11C2A, Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted, Gia Lai province, made an effort to bring a ticket to the final round of the 24th Road to Olympia contest when he won the laurel wreath of the second quarter round with 250 points.
The Department of Education and Training, Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted, and Gia Lai Provincial Youth Union organized a ceremony to honor and award a certificate of merit to Nhat Minh before he left for the year's final match.

According to Nhat Minh, he was lucky to be born and raised in a family where both parents are teachers. In addition to the guidance of teachers at school, his parents often support him with scientific methods to acquire knowledge.
To have a comfortable mindset before the final round, the student from the mountain town was proactive in studying and reviewing. He balanced his timetable between studying and playing sports.
Nhat Minh confided: "I really like watching news programs and reading newspapers and magazines. From this source, I accumulate a lot of knowledge about hot social issues that are not yet updated in books. In my free time, I focus on my passion for English. I hope that in the future I will have the opportunity to travel around the world to learn new things."

In the past school years, Nhat Minh has always won the title of excellent student. Since middle school, Nhat Minh has always been in the English competition team at the city and province levels. In high school, Nhat Minh was admitted to the English class of Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted.
Nhat Minh revealed: "To develop my passion for English, I often watch music and communication programs on TV and the internet. I often try my hand at English competitions to improve my skills and build my vocabulary."
According to Nhat Minh, he was surprised to win the laurel wreath in the quarter competition. He himself entered the quarter competition under a lot of pressure because he was a student from a mountainous area, while his friends were from other big, famous schools. Nhat Minh gradually regained his composure to overcome the challenges of the Road to Olympia competition in the second quarter and won the laurel wreath.
