Improve the quality of internal affairs and prevent negative corruption

In the first 6 months of 2024, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee continued to closely coordinate with Party committees at all levels, Party organizations, advisory agencies to assist the Provincial Party Committee and internal affairs agencies to grasp the situation, advise and propose to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to lead and direct the effective implementation of internal affairs, judicial reform and prevention and fight against corruption and negativity. It chaired, coordinated research and advised the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to issue 18 documents (including 1 program, 1 regulation, 7 plans, 4 notices and 5 official dispatches) to lead and direct internal affairs, judicial reform and prevention and fight against corruption and negativity.

Coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee to advise the Provincial Party Committee to issue the Inspection and Supervision Program for 2024; advised the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee to conduct 2 supervisions of the leadership in implementing Directive No. 26-CT/TW, dated November 9, 2018 of the Politburo on strengthening the Party's leadership over law enforcement agencies in investigating and handling cases and incidents in Tuan Giao district and the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Procuracy. Led and directed the implementation of 11 rounds of grasping the situation of internal affairs, preventing and combating corruption and negativity in units and activities to organize the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory...

Proactively and actively advised the Provincial Party Secretary to receive 3 meetings, 4 turns of citizens according to Regulation No. 11-QDi/TW; regularly receive citizens at the Provincial Party Committee's citizen reception location 34 times, with 37 turns of citizens. Received and processed 40 complaints and denunciations sent to the Provincial Party Committee; processed 29/40 petitions (4 petitions were transferred; 3 petitions were returned and guided; 21 petitions were kept; 1 petition was exchanged and information was provided); 11 petitions were being classified and processed. Verification of 3 petitions was conducted according to regulations. The Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee received 2 meetings, 2 citizens; received 19 petitions (1 appeal, 1 denunciation, 12 petitions, 3 petitions and reflections), classified and processed 16/19 petitions (5 petitions were transferred; 2 petitions were exchanged and information was provided, 9 petitions were kept).

In the coming time, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee will continue to closely coordinate with Party committees at all levels, Party organizations, agencies and units to proactively and promptly advise the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to lead and direct the effective implementation of goals and tasks according to the program and work plan for 2024, such as: Advising on the synchronous and effective implementation of tasks to improve the quality of internal affairs, judicial reform and prevention of corruption. Proactively coordinate to grasp the situation of border security, internal political security, and ideological developments among the people, especially issues related to ethnic and religious affairs, in border areas, key and complicated areas of security, order and social safety, to avoid being passive and unexpected. Coordinate to advise and deploy solutions for economic development, ensuring social security, gradually improving and enhancing the material and spiritual life of ethnic people in the area. Actively fight and prevent activities that take advantage of issues of ethnicity, religion, democracy, and human rights to propagate false propaganda, contrary to the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, and to propagate the establishment of a "separate State". Develop plans and strategies to absolutely protect the safety of key targets, political, economic, and social events in the province, especially the activities of the National Tourism Year of Dien Bien Phu 2024 in the coming time...
