The National Assembly delegation of the province met with voters of Dien Bien Dong district after the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly.

Comrade Nguyen Van Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Transport , Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dien Bien province discussed and clarified a number of contents with voters of Dien Bien Dong.

The representative of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation quickly informed the voters of the results of the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly. The session considered and decided on personnel work under its authority, socio -economic issues, and the state budget; passed 11 laws, 21 resolutions, gave initial opinions on 11 other draft laws; conducted questions and answers; conducted supreme supervision on the topic "Implementation of Resolution No. 43/2022/QH15 dated January 11, 2022 of the National Assembly on fiscal and monetary policies to support the Socio-economic Recovery and Development Program and resolutions of the National Assembly on a number of important national projects until the end of 2023" and a number of other important contents.

In a democratic and frank atmosphere, voters of Dien Bien Dong district expressed many opinions and recommendations to the Provincial National Assembly Delegation such as: Requesting the Minister of Transport, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, and leaders of Dien Bien province to pay attention to investing in traffic infrastructure on the Pa Vat - Hang Lia - Tia Dinh route; investing in upgrading National Highway 12 through Dien Bien Dong district and the entire extended National Highway 12 route; Phi Nhu - Xa Dung - Muong Lan route; constructing the Na Pa Khoang Reservoir Irrigation Project, Luan Gioi commune. Requesting the Government to soon issue a Decree regulating the preparation of estimates, management and use of regular state budget expenditures for purchasing assets and equipment; renovating, upgrading, expanding, and constructing new construction items in invested projects... to soon remove obstacles for the locality.

At the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Duc Toan clarified a number of contents related to the policy mechanism for implementing community production support projects to purchase breeding animals, goods and services from people directly producing in the area without having to apply the Law on Animal Husbandry, Law on Veterinary Medicine, etc.

On behalf of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Comrade Nguyen Van Thang, Minister of Transport, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, thanked the voters for their sentiments and trust in the National Assembly Delegates; acknowledged and highly appreciated the enthusiastic, responsible and constructive opinions on the political, economic and social fields of the voters. The opinions of the voters will help the Provincial National Assembly Delegation make recommendations to the Government and relevant ministries and branches to have solutions to more effectively implement mechanisms and policies for the people in the coming time. The Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation hopes that voters will have more practical opinions so that the National Assembly Delegates can continue to promote the role of elected representatives in their activities. At the same time, he will discuss and clarify some issues of interest to voters. The Provincial National Assembly Delegation will receive and synthesize the suggestions and recommendations of the voters to reflect to the competent agencies and report to the National Assembly for consideration and resolution in the next session.
