Speaking at the conference, Mr. Bui Manh Phuc - Chairman of the City Red Cross Society emphasized: Timely and proper first aid will increase the chance of survival, limit complications, and shorten the treatment and recovery time for victims. Therefore, each agency, unit, school, and community needs to consider equipping themselves with knowledge, skills, and first aid tools as an essential requirement to be able to provide timely support to themselves and those around them. This is a meaningful activity to raise public awareness, practice first aid skills, and contribute to protecting people's health and lives in emergency situations.
Scenario rehearsal..
The first aid exercise for a simulated road traffic accident took place in stormy weather, strong winds, fallen trees, and 6 victims suffered multiple injuries. The emergency team received the report, mobilized personnel to the scene, performed initial first aid, specialized treatment, and transported them to a medical facility.
The competitions and realistic drills have brought practical value, helping the community understand first aid procedures, thereby confidently and proactively responding in emergency situations.
