After the damage caused by storm No. 3, in the livestock sector in many localities in the province, many households, although heavily affected, have urgently cleaned up their barns and begun to restore production.

Storm No. 3 caused damage to the entire barn infrastructure and 10,000 poultry and aquaculture ponds of Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy's family (Binh Luc Thuong area, Hong Phong ward, Dong Trieu town), estimated at 1.7 billion VND. During the flood caused by Kinh Thay river overflowing, with the help of neighbors, her family was able to keep 5,000 chickens to continue rebuilding production. Ms. Thuy confided: This damage is not what anyone wants, but as long as there are people, we can rebuild. Recently, after the water receded, I cleaned, sanitized, and disinfected the barn and surrounding area with lime powder, then brought the chickens back to the barn to raise. Currently, some of them are weak, and I am also treating them with medicine to help them recover soon. Households that suffered damage after the storm like me and some surrounding households also hope to receive financial support to have resources to restore their family economy .
