Some units have integrated modern technologies in electronic medical records (EMR), helping to improve service quality, serve diverse patient groups, and move towards a smart healthcare ecosystem platform.
The electronic medical record system is integrated with new technology, serving the diverse medical examination and treatment needs of the people.
New experience from electronic medical records
Patients who come to Thu Duc Regional General Hospital for examination and treatment and have paraclinical indications such as tests, ultrasound, X-ray or MRI will no longer have to receive paper or film results. Instead, the results are returned directly on the hospital's website. People only need to log in to track their medical records. This is one of the many conveniences that BAĐT brings.

Hospital improves service quality
Dr. Cao Tan Phuoc - Director of Thu Duc Regional General Hospital said: "Up to now, the reception of BAĐT at the hospital is at a good level. Patients only need to go to the reception counter to present their CCCD or VNeID level 2, the data will automatically be transferred to the system quickly and accurately. Most documents are signed with digital signatures, helping to reduce the time for procedures, so that medical staff have more time to take care of patients."

Dr. Vo Duc Hieu, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital, said: “For children, the system has its own module: drug dosage calculated by weight, height, growth chart monitoring and social psychology. For adults, electronic medical records support monitoring of chemotherapy and radiotherapy toxicity, and assessment of functional decline appropriate to adult status. The system automatically adjusts parameters, displays specialized warnings, and helps minimize errors.”
Doctor CKII Vo Duc Hieu - Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital shares about specialized modules that help support monitoring and treatment for each group of patients.
Towards a smart healthcare ecosystem
Currently, more than 10% of non-public hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City have not yet implemented the BAĐT. The City Health Department is supporting the expansion and standardization of the centralized medical data warehouse, ensuring safety - security - connectivity. This is a concrete step to implement Resolution 72 of the Politburo on a number of breakthrough solutions, strengthening the protection, care and improvement of people's health.
