The first working day at the 1st Hung Yen Provincial Party Congress

The Hung Yen Provincial Party Congress was held for 2 days (October 2-3, 2025), with 438 delegates summoned representing more than 182,000 party members in the entire provincial Party Committee.

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development", the Congress will review and evaluate the results of implementing the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term; set out goals, directions, tasks, solutions, important decisions in 5 years, 10 years and realize the vision to 2045 to build and develop Hung Yen province faster and more sustainably, becoming a modern industrial province and a centrally-run city, rich, prosperous, civilized and happy.

On the first working day, the delegates elected the Congress Presidium consisting of 22 comrades; elected the Congress Secretariat consisting of 3 comrades; elected the Delegate Qualification Examination Committee consisting of 11 comrades; reported on the synthesis of comments on the draft documents of the 14th National Congress of the Party; presented the review report of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, term 2020-2025...

Speaking at the opening session, comrade Nguyen Huu Nghia, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee, asked delegates to uphold their sense of responsibility, concentrate their intelligence, actively participate in discussions, and contribute quality and valuable opinions to successfully complete the Congress's content.

On the first working day, there were 20 presentations at the Congress, including outstanding presentations such as: Focusing on leadership, direction, and concretization of the goals of building Hung Yen province to develop rapidly and sustainably in the direction of industry and modernity, becoming a smart, ecological city directly under the Central Government; Strategy for developing transport infrastructure and urban infrastructure in Hung Yen province until 2030, with a vision to 2045; Solutions for developing a green, sustainable marine economy , associated with protecting national defense and security in the maritime border area.
