Nghe An: Highlights on January 15

* The People's Committee of Nghe An province has just issued a document directing departments, heads of provincial-level branches and sectors, and chairmen of People's Committees of districts, cities, and towns to overcome shortcomings and limitations in administrative reform work in Nghe An province in 2023.

* On the afternoon of January 15, the People's Committee of Nghe An province held a conference to review the state management of beliefs and religions in 2023 and deploy tasks for 2024. On this occasion, 5 collectives and 6 individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in beliefs and religions.

* In 2023, overcoming many difficulties and challenges, the Nghe An Tax and Customs sector has successfully completed its budget collection tasks. One of the highlights is that the sector has actively implemented tax administrative reforms and researched effective applications in tax management.

* The business of small traders at Duoc market (Hung Chinh commune, Vinh city) has returned to normal. Previously, on the evening of January 11, a fire broke out at the kiosks at Duoc market. Although there were no casualties, many goods prepared for Tet by people were damaged, completely burned, and had to be destroyed.
