(Dan Tri) - On Valentine's Day, February 14 (the day of love), many young people in Hanoi went to Ha Pagoda to burn incense and pray for love and luck in the new year.
Ha Pagoda (Cau Giay, Hanoi) is known as a sacred place to pray for love. On February 14, young people in Hanoi flocked to Ha Pagoda to pray, hoping for their love life to go as planned. Young people respectfully and sincerely prayed with incense sticks. Ms. Ha Huong (in black shirt on the right of the photo) went to Ha Pagoda to pray for love and luck in the new year. "My two close friends and I went to Ha Pagoda with the wish to pray for love and peace for our family. Even though we went early, the pagoda was still very crowded," Ms. Huong shared.
Most of the people who come to buy things for the ceremony are young people. The offerings for love include gold, incense and on the trays of offerings, roses are indispensable - the flower symbolizing love. On average, each offering, depending on the size, vendors sell from 150,000 VND to 250,000 VND/offering, including fruits... Many young people who go to the temple just fill in their name, age, address on a piece of paper..., then hire someone to write the prayer and petition right in front of the temple door. Everyone was respectful in the sacred atmosphere of the temple. As noon approached, the number of visitors coming to offer sacrifices increased, and the votive paper furnace by Crescent Lake continued to burn red hot.
The paths inside Ha Pagoda are crowded with people. The early spring weather is cool but not too cold, very favorable for Buddhists to visit pagodas and go on spring outings.
