The nearly 120-year-old school is bustling with excitement for the new school year opening ceremony.

On the afternoon of September 4, the atmosphere at Cao Thang Technical College (HCMC) became more bustling as staff, lecturers and students busily completed the final steps for the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year, taking place tomorrow morning (September 5).

Dr. Le Dinh Kha, Principal of the school, said that this was the first time the school had held an opening ceremony on such a grand and solemn scale. This was also an event marking the beginning of a new school year in the era of national development.

Notably, this year Cao Thang Technical College is the only college chosen by the Ministry of Education and Training as one of 18 online bridges in the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of National Education (now the Ministry of Education and Training). "Preparations have been underway for many days and everything is ready for the opening ceremony tomorrow," Dr. Kha shared.

As planned, the opening ceremony will begin at 7 a.m. on September 5, with about 1,500 students attending, most of whom are new students of the 2025 class. This is also an opportunity to welcome a new generation of students to the learning and training environment at Cao Thang.

Within the framework of the event, the school also organized an exhibition "Training achievements - Cao Thang 119 years" taking place on September 4-5, attracting a large number of students to participate. "This exhibition is part of a series of activities to welcome the new school year and celebrate the 120th anniversary of the school's founding. The students are all very excited to experience this meaningful activity," added the Principal of Cao Thang Technical College.
