Dong Nai residents face difficulties when bus route 150 stops picking up and dropping off passengers at Vung Tau Intersection Bus Station.

(DN)- On August 1, bus route 150 officially stopped its route and stopped picking up and dropping off passengers at Vung Tau Crossroads Bus Station (in Tran Bien Ward, Dong Nai Province) to go to Ho Chi Minh City and vice versa. Although there has been an adjustment in the operating itinerary of 3 bus routes: 601, 603, 607 connecting Vung Tau Crossroads Bus Station to pick up and drop off passengers instead of bus route 150, this change is still not guaranteed and has affected the travel of Dong Nai people.

According to Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio and Television reporters at 6am on August 1, a large number of people were present at Vung Tau Crossroads Bus Station to catch the bus to Ho Chi Minh City. Among them, many people did not know about bus route 150, which had cut the route and did not pick up or drop off passengers at Vung Tau Crossroads Bus Station. People were worried because they had arrived at the bus station very early and had to wait 20-30 minutes but still could not catch the bus to Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Nam (living in Trang Dai ward, Dong Nai province) said that he normally rides his motorbike to work in Ho Chi Minh City. Today, his motorbike suddenly broke down, so an acquaintance recommended him to take bus route 150 to Ho Chi Minh City for convenience. However, when he arrived at Vung Tau Intersection Bus Station, he learned that this bus route had stopped operating and no longer picked up passengers there.

“I have been waiting here for about 20 minutes and still haven’t caught a bus. This delay will greatly affect my work because the company has very specific working hours…” - Mr. Nam worried.

At around 6:20 am on the same day, some bus routes: 601, 603, 607 arrived at Vung Tau Intersection Bus Station. However, due to the small size of the buses, while the number of passengers was too large, many people were forced to return to the waiting area to wait for the next buses. The long wait made many people upset. Therefore, the bus station security staff had to try their best to guide and explain to people to maintain security and order.

People's travel was very convenient because every 5 minutes a bus arrived to pick up and drop off passengers. However, when this bus route stopped operating, people had to wait a lot of time, while many people had to go to work, get medical treatment, go to school, etc.

As reported by Dong Nai Newspaper, Radio and Television, on July 30, the Department of Construction of Dong Nai province sent a document to relevant units regarding the temporary adjustment of the operating route of bus routes 601, 603, 607 connecting to Vung Tau Crossroads Bus Station.
