People recorded "accusing" blue-plate car of traffic violations

The document stated that recently, with the drastic participation of the entire political system, the traffic order and safety situation in Lam Dong province has had many positive changes.

Specifically, in the first 8 months of 2025, traffic accidents in Lam Dong province decreased in all 3 criteria compared to the same period: The number of cases decreased by 32.3% (563/832 cases), the number of deaths decreased by 8.6% (277/303 people) and the number of injured people decreased by 37.7% (449/721 people).

However, traffic safety violations on some routes and areas in the province are still common, directly causing accidents.

Notably, through the traffic surveillance camera system and direct recording by people, many cases of official cars (with blue license plates) belonging to agencies and units in the province were recorded violating road traffic regulations with typical violations such as: overtaking in violation of regulations, overtaking in cases where overtaking is not allowed... causing public outrage, affecting the reputation of state agencies.

The Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee requested relevant units to strengthen propaganda, raise awareness of cadres, civil servants, public employees and armed forces, and promote exemplary role when participating in traffic.

There are strict measures to deal with violations, especially for official drivers who violate traffic safety regulations and use priority lights and horns improperly.
