The final round of the Miss Tourism Vietnam Global 2024 contest took place in Hai Phong city on the evening of September 21. Ninh Binh had contestant Trinh Thi Trung Thu (Tam Diep city) enter the Top 10 and was awarded the "Miss Vietnamese Identity Costume" award for the contestant with the most impressive costume with "Ninh Binh Rattan Sedge".
Trinh Thi Trung Thu, born in 2006, comes from Bac Son ward, Tam Diep city. She is currently a freshman at Hanoi National Economics University; 1m68 tall, measurements: 81-57-89.
At the 2024 Hoa Lu Beauty Contest, Trinh Thi Trung Thu won the 3rd Hoa Lu Beauty Award, the best-behaved beauty.
At the final round of the Miss Vietnam Tourism Global 2024 contest, with the costume "Ninh Binh Rattan Sedge", the Mid-Autumn Festival hopes to spread and promote the traditional sedge making profession of Kim Son, Ninh Binh, which was formed hundreds of years ago. Through the ups and downs of history, the sedge craft has increasingly affirmed its position and has been preserved and developed to this day. Kim Son sedge craft has just been included in the list of National Intangible Cultural Heritage by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
